My great-grandmother Dorothy (Alexander) Powers and her father both kept immaculate journals. The following are some of her or her father's entries pertaining to James L. Alexander. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD THIS INFORMATION TO YOUR TREE PLEASE CREDIT ME. It was a chore transcribing the journals out and they are very dear to our family. Please add the following description to your entries in GEDCOM files or elsewhere on the internet:
More notes on J.L. Alexander from my Great-Grandma Dorothy Powers' journals...
* "JL Alexander's trial in federal court was on Thursday, Oct 4, 1934 and on Friday, Oct 5, 1934. Lawyers were Jerry B Fenton and LL Collins. Witnesses were Virgil Evans, Dr CE Carlton (sp?), Robert Palmer, Edward Hawkins, JE Marshal, and SP Decker."
