Der Eigenname wird im KB Diedelsheim anläßlich des
Traueintrags von 1708 mit "FEZLERin" widergegeben;
gleichwohl bin ich der Auffassung, dass die Schreibweise
"FETZNER" die korrekte sein dürfte. Dafür spricht auch,
dass der Name ausschließlich in der letztgenannten Form
in Baden und hauptsächlich in der Gegend von Stutensee,
zu welchem Ort Spöck heute gehört, noch heute in großer
Zahl existiert. Im übrigen wäre es nicht das erste Mal, dass
sich ein Pfarrer beim Eintrag in das KB geirrt hätte, zumal
wenn die Person von auswärts kommt ( " ... aus Spöck
gebürtig ... " ).
