Kam um 1900 nach Berlin. Sie wohnte zur Untermiete bei den Wegners (Kolonialwarenladen), dort wurde ihr n.e. Kind Gertrud genannt "Trudchen"groß. Der Vater von Gertrud kam beim Boxeraufstand in China ums Leben. Von ihm hat sie das kleine Lackdöschen geschenkt bekommen. Gertrudwurde später von den Wegners adoptiert. Noch vor ihrer Heirat mit HansSiegmund kaufte sie zwischen 1900 und 1910 das Rosenholzkästchen (Schreinerarbeit). Als Margot Siegmund geboren wurde, brach der Kontakt mit den Geschwistern ab, da aus deren Sicht das Erbe weg war. Nach den Unterlagen von Hansgeorg Huhn starb Ernst, Johannes, Martin,Ludwig Wedehase am 08.06.1916 in Aue/Sachsen. Martha war fast 22 Jahre alt, als Gertrud geboren wurde, 28 Jahre altals sie Hans Siegmund heiratete und 40 Jahre alt, als Margot Siegmundgeboren wurde.
