Her father was probably one of the three alderman of Geinsheim listed in 1654 and 1658: Hans, Stefan, and Melchior Haus. The Hauß family is one of the oldest in Geinsheim, mentioned already in 1500. Hans Haußen wasSchultheiß in Geinsheim in 1530, and a Hans Hauß was Schultheiß in Geinsheim in 1522, 1530, 1531, 1540, and 1543. Many members of the Hauß clan were aldermen in Geinsheim from the 16th through the first half of the 18th century.
