Married a Hix in Union, SC. This based on an article in PlantationHeritage byKenneth F, and Blanche Marsh, pub.1962: "...built by Dr.James Edward Hix, a planter-doctor,. His mother was a member of thearistocratic Meng family of Union." Julianna was the only availabledaughter of the Meng family. In "Will Book of Union", (BTranscripts)appears the following names," James Meng, Charles Meng,and Julie Hix".
