According to the available information, Groves Howard, who allegedlywas Lucy's father left a dated 12 May 1804 in Granville County, NorthCarolina. This document needs to be viewed to clarify whether heindeed was Lucy's father or not. Until then, this parentage cannot beconsidered trustworthy.
