Had two sons William, one by each of his two wifes. ThefirstWilliam'TheWaster', although the eldest, was set aside by hisfatherfromsuccessionto the Earldom after a jury of nobles foundhim'incomposmentis etfatuus'. The second William (by his secondwife)succeeded tothe Earldom.
