Im 14. jahrhundert gehörte der Hof sowie 2/3 des Dorfes den Rittern von Schröck, dann waren die Riedesel zu Josbach und später die Riedesel von Bellersheim, die 1595 ausstarben, die Besitzer. Aus dem Ende des 16. Jhdt befindet sich im Staatsarchiv Würzburg ein Bericht über die Besitzrechte z.Zt. des Erzbischof Daniel von Mainz (1555-1582), in dem u.a. in Schröck ein Hofbesitzer "Jakob Selicher" genannt wird.
