Notes for this person
Martha went to work on her fathers' farm after elementary school. At age 18 she took a three year course in Sales and worked in that field for sixteen years. Then she became a weaver for thirty years. She was pensioned and lived very well in Spangenberg, Hesse, Germany in an apartment in the middle of town. She has been a member of a Women's Bowling Club since 1954. She used to take a bus to Melsungen twice a weck to see her sister Juliane there. She was an avid soccer fan and would watch "her team" play even into the late night.
