Anne was born in 1943, (before mum & paps went to the Japanese prison camp, which was not the internment camp in Nhatrang), and died at the age of three months of gastroenteritis. She looked like Tily, but had blue eyes. Mum and paps were both heartbroken. She died in hospital in Nhatrang and was brought back to the plantation in a coffin. She was buried on the plantation. When the Japs became bothersome paps had her coffin dug up and re-buried at the foot of the big tree in front of his house.
