Müller, Paul: Müller und Gerber in Hornbach; ab 1714 und noch 1745 Müller und Gerber auf der „Loh-Mühl außer der Statt Homburg. Im Mühlenprotokoll für das Oberamt Zweibrücken vom 6.1.1745 (vgl. LA Speyer Best B2 295/5 Bl. 175-177) wird sie zusammenfassend wie folgt beschrieben: “Liegt an vorgedt: Schwolb etwan 20 Schritt oberhalb wo solche in die Horn fließet, gleich unten an der sogenannten Kauer-Brück. Ist in gutem Stand und treibet ein doppelt unterschlechtiges Waßerrad 4 Stämpel. Entrichtet jährl: 1 fl 7 bz 8 kr in das Kloster Hornbach. Wird nur von dem Beständer und deßen drey Söhnen zu Ihrem Handwerck gebrauchet. Der Erbbeständer ist Paulus Müller, welcher sich mit einem auf Ihn unterm 3ten Decembr: 1714 eingerichteten Erbbestandsbrief legitimiert.
