OBITUARY, The Sioux City Journal, 21 October 1977, page A11: Albert Eugene Coon, 71, Sacramento, California, a longtime resident of Sioux City, died Wednesdayat his home. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at the North Sacramento FuneralHome. Burial will be in East Lawn Sierra Hills Memorial Park. Mr. Coon was born January 26, 1906, in Oto, Iowa. He married Florence Luce in Sioux City. Theyresided here until moving to Sacramento about a month ago. He last was employedin Sioux City as a custodian for the Town Club where he worked for five years.Survivors include the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Alberta D. Mannier and Mrs. Harriet J. Ralston, both of Sacramento, two sons, Jimmie L. of Glen Ellen, Illinois, and Darwin E. of Sunnyvale, California; three sisters, Mrs. Jen Pierce and Mrs. Iva Hayworth both of Sioux City, and Mrs. Tootie Hayworth of Anthon, Iowa, eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Burial: 21 October 1977, East Lawn Sierra Hills Memorial Park, Sacramento Co., California
