war eigentlich gelernter Landwirt und hat auf eigenem Grundstück in Wevelinghoven Schweine, Gänse, Hühner gehalten und geschlachtet, was dann auch in der Gaststätte verwertet wurde. Mein Vater, Wilhelm Koch, kann sich noch gut erinnern das er oft dort geholfen hat, auch beim ernten der Kartoffeln so auch beim düngen mit Stallmist welcher immer mit der Schubkarre in den Gemüsegarten geschafftwurde. Mein Großvater Wilhelm Koch und Peter Goetzen haben sich sehr gut verstanden, beide Familien haben sich sehr oft getroffen und viel gemeinsam unternommen
