Emma Cora MOBLEY

(353) Oran, March 14, 1952 -- Mrs. Emma Metz Brady, following an illness of several months, died in a Cape Girardeau hospital at 7:30, Thursday night, March 13, 1952. The body was brought to the Smith Funeral Home here. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at Guardian Angel Church here, conducted by Rev. A. J. Peopsel. Burial will be in the new church cemtery. Mrs. Brady was born June 8, 1891, near Oran and was a lifelong resident of this community. She married Wm. Metz in November, 1911, and he died in 1939. To this union was born as only son, Jerome Metz, of Oran. On May 16, 1939, she married Albert Brady of Oran, who survives, with four brothers, Robert Mobley of Piggott, Ark., Grover Mobley of Randles, Charles Mobley of Marion, Mich., and Joe Mobley of Jonesboro, Ark.; three sisters, Mrs. Mamie Cowger of Oran, Mrs. Iva Pobst of Vanduser, and Mrs. Irene Taylor of Poggott and one grandchhild.
