I do not know whoher father was. Elizabeth Jane Hanley first married John J. Jones ofBlount County, AL. Son of Wiley and Roenna Carlton Jones. Elizabeth`smother Jane Hanley died in 1859 and William and Elizabeth show up inthe 1860 census in Fayette County, AL. I do not know when they movedinto Winston. Clint Garrett haspublished a book on Elizabeth`sbrother Andrew Handley`s line. It is 600 + pageon these lines if youare interested. She has brother`s Isaac, John, James and Andrewlistedin the 1850 census. I found William Davis in the 1880 census ofWinston Co. AL.
