T. B. McWILLIAMS
Tom McWilliams, one of the early settlers in the Soldier Valley,passed away at his home south of town, Tuesday evening, aged about 72years.
Mr. McWilliams has been poorly for sometime but not seriously so nothought was had of his sudden death, Tuesday morning hewas not welland the doctor called.In the evening he was setting in his chair whenthe end came. He was born at Point Pleasant, Ohio, came to Harrisoncounty in1856 and settled in the Soldier Valley. He leaves besideshis wife, 1 daughters and 2 sons---Mrs. Laura Smith, Mrs. Etta____,Mrs. Belle Peck, Mrs. Julia Fisher,Will and Sidney McWilliams, allresidinghereabouts and near Woodbine. He also issurvived by twosisters, Mrs. Wm. Arthurof Logan and Mrs. Scofield of Crawford,Nebr.Tom was one of the good men of thecommunity, as we term them, andwill be missed by many, many friends. The funeraltakes place today,Friday, at the Soldier Valley M. E. Church.
