Keystone - Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 1 at 1:30 p.m. from St. John Lutheran Church, Keystone for Mrs. Ben (Marie) Eggers, Keystone, who died at St. Luke's hospital in Cedar RapidsMonday, July 29. the cause of death was a blood clot on the lung and other complications.
Mrs. Eggers was born to Bert and Ethel Mae England on 22 June 1909 in Benton county. On August 27, 1929, she was united in marriage to Ben Eggers in Keystone. She devoted a lot of her time to beinga housewife and working in the cafe that the Eggerses owned.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran church in Keystone.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Ethel England, Belle Plaine; her husband Ben Eggers of Keystone; four children Barbara DeKlotz, Newhall; Allan B. Eggers, Cedar Rapids, Cynthia Eggers and Kathy Eggers at home; one sister, Mrs. Charles Steleik, Belle Plaine, one brother, DeWitt England, Princeton, Wisconsin and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother.
Rev. Ott Nuechterlein, pastor of St. John Lutheran church, Keystone will officiate at the services.[Zornig Family.FTW]
