Mr. and Mrs. Ed. H. Pageler received a package from their son, T/5 Harold E. Pageler, who is on Luzon, which contained three pairs of shoes made of coconut fiber and rattan. They were very practical items and made a lovely gift. Mrs Pageler also is the proud posseser of a heart shaped locket made by her son from a piece of Australian money, the center being carved from a red poker chip. He made this lovely piece of jewelry with a file, some sandpaper and tooth powder and sent it to his mother on the silver wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Pageler.
