Wanda was a member of Portland Ave Baptist Church. She lived most of her life in Norman and Oklahoma City. She was a homemaker and full-time Mom to her children. Wanda never worked outside the home and never drove a car. Wanda could never say anything negative about anyone. Her motto was "Ifyou can't say anything nice – just don't say anything at all." In 2002, following an onset of health matters, she moved to Ranchwood Nursing Center in Yukon. She called it a "Mansion" when she first saw it. There she was treated with love, respect and dignity through the end of her life. She was so tiny, but nothing kept Wanda from roaming the halls at Ranchwood in her wheelchair and saying"hi" to her friends. She enjoyed holidays with family. Easters were especially fun for her as she watched the kids racing to get all the eggs they could find. Christmas was also special because she was a Christmas Eve baby. Wanda's first holiday in heaven will be Easter – How fitting!!! Wanda's joy was her children and her grandchildren. Recently she had a chance to tell her two remaining sons goodbye. Then her work was done, and she was ready to step into paradise and re-unite with family. Her Joy Will Know No Boundaries. We Love and Miss You Wanda.

Our family would like to thank the staff at Ranchwood for all the loving kindness shown to Miss Wanda for the past 14 years. She knew she was loved there. She enjoyed all the activities, especially BINGO! Thanks Linda, Angel, and Veronica.

A special thanks to Physician's Choice Hospice for sitting with Wanda and gently assisting her with her departure from this life. Thanks Jennie, Sara and others.

Avery true thank you to Pastor Walter Mullican and Church Family from Portland Ave Baptist Church for your continued support, and prayers. Wanda felt your love every day.

Wanda, You Are Greatly Missed.
