Obituary:Eyman, Lillian J. Services for Lillian J. Eyman, formerly of Litchfield, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Hough Colonial Home, Morrisonville, with the Rev. Jim Thomson officiating. Burial will be in Morrisonville Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. The family suggests memorials be directed to the Cancer Fund. Mrs. Eyman died at 6:45 p.m. Saturday, December 4, 1999, in St. Vincent's Memorial Hospital, Taylorville. She was 94 years old last December 31. She worked for the Brown Shoe Company and was a telephone operator in Litchfield in her early years. After she and her husband moved to Morrisonville, she worked at the Illiopolis Munitions plant then at a dress factory in Kincaid and as a telephone operator in Morrisonville. She was also acook at the high school cafeteria. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, the Order of the Eastern Star Roseland Chapter 736 of Owaneco and Rebekah Orient Lodge 2 of Palmer. She was born in Litchfield, a daughter of Peter W. and Mary Olive Ray McDaniel. She married Clarence E. "Heavy" Eyman on April 16, 1924. He died December 26, 1976. Surviving are their five children, Warren Eyman and wife Charlotte of Little Rock, Ark., Irene Kent and husband William, Jean McKinney and husband Charles, Albert Eyman and wife Beverly, all of Morrisonville, Mary Harper and husband John of Assumption; and 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were two sisters and a grandson, Benjamin Kent on August 17,1996.
