He was born in the village Meinitz in the Leisnig parish in Saxony in Germany at 7 a.m. on the 14th of October 1814. His parents were Johann Gottfried and Rosina Maria Mulde. (H2)

In 1910 Leisnig had 8001 inhabitants. Then there was a post office, a court, a registry, a taxation office, government administration offices, an administration office of the railways, a Lutheran church, a secondary school, technical schools, a hospital, an old peoples home, a swimming pool, coal gas production, abattoirs, several bank branches, horse, cattle and general markets, chemical, metal, textile and machine industry, shoe, soap, chair, underwear, furniture, metal springs, cement, copper and cigar factories, a brewery, a tannery, a foundry, a dairy, a flour mill, a saw mill and a brick yard. In Leisnig is a castle called Mildenstein. (A1)

He married the single Christiane Friedericke Laudelei from the nearby village Minkwitz, on the 4th of September 1842 in the St. Matthai church in Leisnig. (H2)
For one or two years they lived in Minkwitz. Then they moved to the village Wallbach in the nearby Gersdorf parish. They raised their family there. (H1)
Death:
He died between 1861 and 1867. The place of his death is unknown. (H1)
Other Information:
1. His death record was not found in the register of the Gersdorf church. I asked the minister twice. He appears to be thorough. My ancestor's last child was born in 1861. In the wedding record of my ancestor's oldest son, Johann Friedrich Anton, in 1867, the son is described as hinterlassener Sohn.
2. His death is not recorded in the Gersdorf, Leisnig, Wendishain, Döbeln nor Waldheim registries between 1876 and 1910. The records start from 1876.
