She was probably born about 1751 near Worpswede near Osterholz-Scharmbeck in Lower Saxony in Germany. Her father was Dierk Tietjen from Neu St. Juergen. (C2)

She married the single Dierk Grotheer, who was from Neu St. Jürgen, on the 30th of November 1770 in the Lutheran church in Worpswede. (C2)

Death:
She died of poliomyelitis at 8 a.m. on the 3rd of February 1827 in Neu St. Jürgen. She was 76 years old. She was buried in the cemetery in Worpswede three days later. (C2)

1. There are no records of baptisms of children from a Dierk Titjen from Neu St. Jürgen in the Scharmbeck parish from 1746 until 1759 (from Morman microfilms and original church registers in Scharmbeck). There are also none in the Worpswede parish from 1759 to 1768 (including 1760 & 1764).
I also found no records of burials of children of a Dierk Titjen from Neu St. Jürgen in the Worpswede parish from 1759 till 1820 (including 1760 & 1764). I also searched the incomplete LDS records for the Scharmbeck parish between 1746 & 1765.
I also found no records of weddings of children of a Dierk Titjen from Neu St. Jürgen in the Worpswede parish from 1759 till 1793 (including 1760 & 1764), other than that of Anne Titjen with Dierk Grotheer. I also searched the incomplete LDS records for the Scharmbeck parish between 1746 & 1765.
2. Her father, Dierk Titjen, died before 1771 (see her wedding record). No Dierk Titjen from Neu St. Jürgen died in the Worpswede parish between 1759 and 1770 (including 1760 & 1764). I also searched the incomplete LDS records for deaths in the Scharmbeck parish between 1746 and 1765.
3. I found no second wedding record of a Mrs. Titjen from Neu St. Jürgen in the Worpswede parish from 1759 till 1793 (including 1760 & 1764). I did not search in the Scharmbeck parish from 1750 till 1759.
4. I found no death record of a Mrs. Titjen from Neu St. Jürgen in the Worpswede parish from 1759 till 1820 (including 1760 & 1764), except for a Anne Titjen, the widow of Dierk Titjen from "Hamm". She died on Gert Welbrock's property in Neu St. Jürgen on the 7/11/1798 aged 95 years (calculated birth: 1703). I did not search in the Scharmbeck parish from 1750 till 1759.
5. I searched for the baptisms of children of Dierk Titjen from Überhamm in the original Scharmbeck church books from 1748 till 1754, inclusive. I found nothing.
6. I searched for the baptisms of children of Dierk Titjen living anywhere in the original Scharmbeck church books from 1748 till 1754, inclusive. There was one Dierk in Barchen (?), one or two Dierks in the village Scharmbeck, one Harmen Dierk in the village Scharmbeck, and a Dierk in Oberendermoor. The last one baptised a daughter Anna on the 28/2/1753. This Dierk Titjen married Trien Wendelken on the 13/11/1727. This Dierk Tietjen is my No. 870. They lived in Überhamm, Hülseberg and Oberendermoor (now Teufelsmoor). His first wife died on the 12/10/1751. He married the widow Anna Monsees on the 22/11/1752. This family may be my ancestors.
7. In her wedding record her father is described as Dierk Tietjen from Neu St. Juergen.
8. Perhaps she was illegitemate and her mother's name was Tietjen.
