1. Obituary Published in the Fond Du Lac Reporter, August 2, 2005. Helen L. Strizek Helen L. Strizek, 89, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, Aug. 1, 2005, atManorCare Health Services. She was born on Jan. 31, 1916, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of the lateHenry and Pauline Daschefske Ehlen. On October 6, 1937, Helen married Steve Strizek. She was a member of St. Peters Ev. Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac. Helen worked as a clerk at Ediths for over 30 years. She is survived by a son, Steve (Noonie) Strizek of Fond du Lac; twograndchildren, Gregory Strizek of Nashville, Tenn., and Erin Strizekof Green Bay. She is further survived by her husbands two sisters,Lucille (Gordon) Lakin of Chilton and Louise (Bruce) Schmitz ofTucson, Ariz.; nieces; and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Strizek; threesisters, Margaret (Marvin) Miller, Eleanor (Leonard) Reinhold andMarie (Elton) Averbeck. She was further preceded in death by herhusbands three sisters and three brothers: Esther (Sam) Frick, Mary(Peter) Schmunk, Wesley (Dolores) Strizek, George Strizek, John(Dorothy) Strizek and Katherine (Sam) Greshay. Services: The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug.3, 2005, at St. Peters Ev. Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac, with theRev. David B. Dolan officiating. Burial will be at EstabrooksCemetery. Visitation: The visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time ofservice on Wednesday. Aug. 3, 2005, at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Peters Ev.Lutheran Church. Mach Funeral Chapel is serving the family.
