Mrs. Thomas N. Lockard: Mrs. Susannah Lockard, wife of Thomas N.Lockard, died at her home on West Washington Street on Mondayfollowing a brief illness. The deceased, who was a daughter of Mr. andMrs. William Lutman*, was born in Cookport November 30, 1857. Thefamily home was established in Indiana over 20 years ago, and duringher residence here she cultivated many enduring friends. The couplewere married February 6, 1879. She leaves her husband and thesechildren: Ney W. Lockard of Vintondale; John B. Lockard of Olcan,N.Y.; Mrs. H.C. Vaughn of Washington, D.C.; T. Frank Lockard ofDetroit, Mich.; Mrs. H.C. Davis of New Kensington, and Miss Gladys G.Lockard at home. She also leaves a brother, George W. Lutman ofCookport, and these sisters: Mrs. Amanda Miller of Glen Campbell, Mrs.Margaret Fleming of Ebensburg; Mrs. Emma Rodkey of Wilkinsburg, andMrs. Jessie Wissinger** of Titusville, Fla. The deceased was a memberof the M.E. Church, and her former pastor, Rev. Dr. E.S. White ofPittsburgh, will conduct the funeral services, which will be held atthe home this afternoon, followed by interment in the GreenwoodCemetery. *Should have read Mr. and Mrs. John Lutman, not William. ** Have not found out who Jessie Wissinger is.
