Belleville News Democrat, Monday 27 March 2006: Jerome G. Richter, 68,of St. Rose, Ill., born Nov. 1, 1937, in Aviston, Ill., died Friday,March 24, 2006, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Belleville, Ill. Mr. Richter was a farmer and a truck driver for Metro-Ag and WilkeTruck Service in St. Rose, Ill. He was a member of St. Rose Church and Men's Sodality,Clinton County Farm Bureau, Prairie Farms Dairy Corp., and was aveteran to the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Katherine, neeZurliene, Richter Sr.; and a brother-in-law, Bernard Fuhler. Surviving are his wife, Theresa, nee Potthast, Richter of St. Rose,Ill., whom he married May 12, 1962, at St. Paul Catholic Church,Highland, Ill.; his children, Roger Richter of St. Rose, Ill., Patty(Jim) Lengermann og Highland, Ill., Dale (Amy) Richter of St. Rose,Ill., and Julie (Keith) Wilken of Bartelso, Ill.; 12 grandchildren,Jeff, Jon and Regina Lengermann, Brett, Renee, Sydney, Grant andLyndsey Richter and Brendan, Brock, Olyvia and Alyse Wilken; twobrothers, Theodore (Dolores) Richter Jr. of St. Rose, Ill., and Dennis(Rose) Richter of Breese, Ill.; and three sisters, Bernice (Leo)Frerker of Breese, Ill., Norma (Ed) Jansen of Albers, Ill., and MaryJane Fuhler of St. Rose, Ill. Memorials may be made to the Brock Wilken Trust Fund and will bereceived at the funeral home. Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2006,and from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at Moss FuneralHome, Breese, Ill. Funeral: A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday,March 28, 2006, at St. Rose Catholic Church, St. Rose, Ill., with theRev. Edward Schaefer officiating. Interment will be in St. RoseCemetery, St. Rose, Ill.
