"BROCKMAN -- Mrs. Edna, age 51 years, passed away Wed., Nov 16, at the

home of her son, James T. Brockman, 5411 Brooklawn. Survived also by

her husband, Robert E. Brockman of the home, and daughter, Mrs. R.O.

Kessler, Denver, Col., 3 sisters, Mrs. Albert Burton and Mrs. Ray

McAdams, both of Clifton Hills, Mo., and Miss Sarah Grizzell, Fowler,

Col. Funeral services Saturday, Nov. 19, at 9:30 a.m. from the Lindsey

funeral home, 3811 Broadway. Interment Clifton Hills, Mo."

"Mrs. R.E. Brockman, Former Resident of Clifton, Dies

Clifton Hill, Mo., Nov. 18 (Monitor-Index Special Service.)

--Mrs. Robert E. Brockman, 51, formerly of Clifton Hill but for the past

six years of Kansas City, died Wednesday night in Kansas City following

a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning in Kansas City and

the body will be brought to Clifton Hill for burial Saturday afternoon,

with the Rev. George Baker, Baptist minister, conducting a short service

at the grave in the Clifton Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Brockman is survived by her husband, former cashier of the

Farmer's Savings Bank here; a son, Jim Thomas Brockman of Kansas City,

a daughter who lives in Denver, Colo., and three sisters, Mrs. Albert

Burton and Mrs. Roy McAdams of Clifton Hill and Miss Sarah Grizzell of

Fowler, Colo. Mrs. Brockman was Miss Edna Grizzell before her

marriage."

"A CONFEDERATE VETERAN DIES

Uncle Tom Grizzell Passes Away Wednesday in Clifton Hill Aged 91

Tom Grizzell, one of our highly esteemed citizens died at his home

about midnight Wednesday evening March 30. His wife passed away about

two months ago.

Mr. Grizzell was the son of John William and Cintha Perry Grizzell.

He was born in Carter County, Kentucky February 12 1841, and died March

30, 1932.

He served as a Confederate soldier during the Civil War.

He is survived by four children, namely, Mrs. Albert Burton and Mrs.

Day McAdams, both of Clifton Hill; Mrs. Robert Brockman of Kansas City;

Miss Sarah Grizzell of Fowler, Colo.; and J.W. and Hiram Rufus, both

deceased. Funeral services were at the Clifton Hill Baptist Church

Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Webdell, a former

Clifton Hill pastor."
