Notizen zu dieser Person
A local trade publication (The Electragist, Volume 26, No. 2, page 34.)reports that A.C. Brueckmann began as an electrical apprentice in 1900,when he was sixteen years old. "After four years of apprenticeship inSavannah, he migrated to Baltimore and secured employment as ajourneyman. Three years later he had become chief engineer for one ofthe largest contractors in Maryland. It was not until 1915, however, that he considered establishing his own business. From the very firsthis company met with success and has since been among the foremost inthis branch of the industry in Maryland. This, perhaps, is because, alsofrom the very start, Mr. Brueckmann has sought only those clients whowant the very highest grade of workmanship and material. As may bejudged from his appointment as executive committeeman, Mr. Brueckmann hasbeen particularly active in association and civic work. He is presidentof both the Maryland Section of Electragists and the Institute ofElectrical Contractors of Maryland; and he is chairman of both theElectrical Conference on Code for Maryland and of the Joint ElectricalLabor Board."
