CORYDON DEMOCRAT OBITUARY – 03/21/1984
Violet Kochert, 74, of Bradford, died Friday at Floyd County Memorial Hospital in New Albany. She was a housewife and a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Survivors include two sons: Donald Kochert of Floyds Knobs and Marvin Kochert of Palmyra; a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Mary Ann) Schetz of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; two brothers: Orville Brockman of New Albany and Joseph Brockman Jr. of Bradford; three sisters: Mrs. Helen Sinkhorn, Mrs. Lorine McDonald and Mrs. Clifford (Mildred) Stewart, all of New Albany; and eight grandchildren. The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Michael’s Church, with burial in the church cemetery. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society. Love Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
