A Mass of Christian Burial for Coletta E. Metz, retired co-owner of a gas station, will be offered at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. John Neumann Parish at the St. Mary Queen of the Rosary worship site, 3854 Main St., Strykersville.
Mrs. Metz, of Strykersville, died Saturday in Hospice Buffalo, Cheektowaga, after a brief illness. She was 90.
Born in Strykersville, she co-owned Metz Gas Service for more than 35 years with her husband, Jerome, who died in 2001. She retired in the mid-1970s.
Mrs. Metz was a Eucharistic minister and member of the Altar and Rosary Society at St. Mary Church in Strykersville.
Survivors include a daughter, Ann Marie Kerr; three sons, Robert, Gary and Kevin; a sister, Donna Caves; and a brother, Carl George.
