Page 67: "My Grandmother Cannon's Ruth Louise Coltrane's) quest for knowledge never ceased as she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Meredith College (Raleigh, North Carolina), restored the historical, colonial architecture on he Carolina coast, and promotedremembrance for the soldiers who fell in the line of duty during the American Revolution (1776) and the War of Northern Aggression (19861-1865). Page 72: " ... My matriarchal grandparents ... Charles Albert and Ruth Louise Coltrane on Easter, would arrange a bevy of little baby chicks waiting for the young grandchildren in the basement.
