Getauft von Pfarrer Gödde. Taufpaten: Julius Eduard Storim und Elisabeth Schwarz, Ehefrau. In der Familie wurde er nur 'Onkel Julius' genannt, unterschrieb auch mit Julius Grote. Wahrscheinlich hat er den Namen von seinem Patenonkel angenommen. Offiziell aber hieß er Eduard. Ging mit jungen Jahren nach Amerika, weil er kein Soldat werden wollte. Gastwirtschaft oder Hotel in Brooklyn oder New York, Landhaus 'mts Ferndal' oder in Dumont. N.J. Präsident eines deutschen Sängerbundes in New York. Kontakte mit Deutschland noch vor dem 2. Weltkrieg, danach nicht mehr aufzufinden. Grössere Fotosammlung im Nachlass Kraus, Briefe.
