Veronica Mancl, E. J. Skibba Wed
St. Wenceslaus Catholic church in Milladore was the scene of the marriage Saturday of Miss Veronica Ann Mancl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Mancl, Sr., Milladore, and Eugene John Skibba, son of Mr. and Mrs. William M. Skibba, Junction City. The Rev. Joseph Splinter officiated.
The bride was gowned in heavy satin with a full skirt, bertha collar and long train. The skirt was caught up in front with small satin bows. A French illusion veil edged in Chantilly lace was held by a seed pearl tiara. She carried a white and orchid gladioli and yellow roses.
Miss Marie Mancl, Milladore, maid of honor, was in orchid and the bridesmaids, Miss Anna Mancl, Marshfield, and Miss Isabel Skibba, Junction City, appeared in identical dresses of yellow gladioli and roses and the other girls held orchid asters and roses.
James Wotruba, Milladore, was best man and Ervin Wunrow, Marshfield, was the other attendant.
A large group of relatives and friends attended the dinner and supper served at the Milladore hall and a reception was held at the home of the bride.
Mrs. Skibba is a graduate of the Auburndale High School. Mr. Skibba, who is employed by Consolidated Water Power and Paper company, graduated from P. J. Jacobs High School, Stevens Point. The couple will reside in this city following their return from a trip to southern Wisconsin, Iowa and South Dakota.
