The cause of death was a large cancer attacking all inner organs. He was interred Wednesday by his pastor, Rev. O. Bierman, in the cemetery of the town of Doyle. The whole congregation, neighbors and friends joined in the procession.</p><p>Mr. Harms was born in Astfriesland, Germany in1845, where he spent his youth. In 1866 he married Marie Juliane Fredericks, and in 1870 he made American his home. None of his brother or sisters survive him. He leaves a mourning wife, one son and three daughters, all being present at the funeral except one daughter. All present sympathize with the bereaved ones.</p><p>--------------</p><p>Family anecdote of unknown origin</p><p>Family said, "Harm came to this country by boat and landed at Baltimore on a sandbar - had a terrible time getting off the sandbar.
