Born Oct. 16, 1933, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Ralph L. and Ethel Mae (Jones) Tate. Preceded in death by husband, Clarence Earl "Andy" Malzi; daughters, Susan and Debra; brother, Ronald; and sisters, Audrey and Carol. Survived by stepdaughter, Karen, wife of Robert Palmer, Johnstown; special companion of 27 years, Robert Lavely; grandchildren, Dennis and Jesse Kirkpatrick and Angela and Teresa Sullivan; and great-grandchildren, Cameron, Liliana and Shane. Sister of Marion Tomchik, Williamsburg; and Jeffrey Tate, Johnstown. Member of Roxbury St. Paul United Methodist Church, Derby Street. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Geisel Funeral Home, Dale. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Geisel-Devlin Memorial Chapel, the Rev. Wayne D.
