Carl Siegenthaler was born December 7, 1874 at Bern, Switzerland and came to America in 1906. He passed away March 18, 1959 at the Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital.
He married Clara Katherine Aureden, daughter of George and Dorothy (Vondra) Aureden, October 24, 1911 at Vancouver, British Columbia and four children were born to this union.
Carl was a farmer at Seneca for many years and came to Prairie du Chien when ill health necessitated his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, Clarence and George and five grandchildren. Two infant children, six sisters and two brothers preceded him in death
