Catherine Marie Wiederholt was born October 4, 1890 in Chatsworth, Illinois to parents John and Anna Melefchick Pizek. On February 6, 1918 she married Bernard "Ben" Valentine Wiederholt at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Pipestone, Minnesota. After their marriage, they settled on a farm in Lisbon, North Dakota. Their two sons were born there.
On 1938 they moved from Lisbon, North Dakota to Eugene, Oregon where Ben took a job in the lumber industry and later with the railroad.
Catherine passed away on March 22, 1981 at the age of 90 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Ben and her son Frances. She is survived by her son Kenneth of Eugene.
Recitation of Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM on March 25th at St. Mark's Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mark's Catholic Chuch at 10:00 AM with Reverand Patrick Kiernan officiating. Concluding services will be held at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
