Ann Crouch from Hampshire, England came to Natal in 1850 on a sailing ship "Lady Bruce". Born 22.10.1843. On the same ship was Stephen Crouch (Unrelated), also from Hampshire. Ann Crouch was 7 yearsold and Stephen approximately 12 years her senior. Later the met and married. They lived first on Mount Desire farm in the New Leeds area , near Thornville.In due course 8 children were born - Information supplied by Aunty Betty.
