Reverand Dillon Stevens (Reverand Ebenezer, Ebenezer, Richard, Henry),was born in Hancock, Berkshire County, Massachusetts, April 6, 1794. Inhis twenty-fifth year he united with the M. E. Church, and beganpreaching in 1822 in the New York Conference. He served the followingcharges: Brandon, Vermont, Highgate, Vermont, Peru, Massachusetts, andGloversville, New York He took a supernumary relation in 1846, and madeGloversville his home until his death, January 10, 1861.
