1563 im Winter als "Embdanus" genannt in Leipzig

1568 - 1602 gräflicher Amtmann (Syndicus) des Emder Rates

1569 hält er die Leichenpredigt für Christoph von Ostfriesland

1576 stiftet er ein großes Fenster für das Emder Rathaus. Das Fenster ist bis heute erhalten.

1585 als Abgesnadter der Stadt nach Groningen und Franeker zu Verhandlungen über die Freilassung aufgebrachter Emder Schiffe.

Dort wurde er 10 Monate als Geisel festgehalten. Abgesandter des Junker Onno von Ewsum.

1663 wurde sein Buch über das Sterben Melonchtons auf griechisch gedruckt.
