[Krug-Grunwald-Tree.GED] SOURCE: St. Peter church records FDL. Notice - Fond du Lac Reporter Hundreds Attend Funeral W. W. Grunwald at St. Peter's Edifice Funeral services for William A. Grunwald, 54, well known resident ofthe city, where for years he had been identified with the furniturebusiness, were conducted at 2 p.m. today from St. Peter's Lutheranchurch, which congregation he had served for a long period of time invarious capacities and of which he was the president at the time of hisdeath. Mr. Grunwald was stricken with a heart attack at his home onGrace avenue Wednesday afternoon. He had been in apparently good healthuntil the time of his death. Private services were conducted at the Geo. M. Dugan funeral home at10:45 a.m. today after which the body was taken to the church where itlay in state until 1:45. The Rev. Gerhard Pieper.\, assisted by the Rev.G. E. Bergemann, officiated at the church where many friends had gatheredto pay a last tribute. There was a large floral offering. Serving as active pallbearers were E. C. Damrow, H. A. Kleinhammer,Edward Hellmich, George Pagel, Dan Kottke, and Walter Schroeder. Membersof the school board and church council acted as honorary pallbearers andincluded Henry Kirchenstein, Herbert Domroehs, John Scharf, WilliamLeitman, Carl Uffenbeck, Arthur Hinn, Edward Radtke, Fred Korth, GeorgeJacobs, Herbert Hinn, Walter Urban and George Fontanne. Many from out of town were present at the church service.
