Age 83, of Baldwin Boro, formerly of Carrick on Wednesday, January 12, 2011. Beloved husband for 59 years of Alene (Jacob) Einwag; loving father of Kathy (Robert) Pruss, David (Lisa) Einwag, Ronald (Kathleen) Einwag, Donna (Piotr) Stelmaszynski and Shirley (Thomas) Forsyth; brother of Donald Einwag; son of the late John and Margaret (Neuser) Einwag; grandfather of Donna, Jacqueline, Mark, Michael, Zachary, Abby, Daniel, Ryan, Phillip, Taylor, Ali, Morgan, Jordan, T.J. and Ashley; great-grandfather of Madison, Marissa, R.J., Ryan, Landon, Loralai and Elijah. Walter was the proud owner of Einwag's Bakery for more than 30 years and known for outstanding baked goods. All helped in the Brownsville Road family business from the 50s to the late 80s which supplied cakes, pies, cookies, seasonal treats and wedding cakes for countless local brides. Friends will be received on Friday from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Interment to follow in Jefferson Memorial Park. Family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association or the Little Sisters of the Poor. www.jeffersonmemorial.biz
