RUMMELL – Leroy H., 87, Nanty Glo, died Oct. 16, 2011, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Sept. 19, 1924, in Jackson Township, son of the late Howard and Rachel (Funk) Rummell. Preceded in death by wife, Eleanor (Reiland) Rummell; grandson, Shawn Forcellini; great-granddaughter, Breanna Rummell; infant sister, Rosemary; and sister, Alleda Rose. Survived by children, Leroy H. Rummell Jr., and wife, Brenda, Nanty Glo; Deborah Arkwright, and husband, William, Vinco; and Lou Ann Forcellini, and husband, Vincent, Nanty Glo; grandchildren, Lee Rummell, and wife, Missy; John Rummell, and wife, Erin; Sheila Daughenbaugh, and husband, Charley; James Rummell, and wife, Sherry; Robyn Bloom, and husband, William; Trevor Arkwright; and Chad Forcellini, and wife, Amy; great-grandchildren, Brittany and Sarah Rummell; Donavin Franko; Dylan and Skylar Bloom; and Cydney, Hunter and Cannon Forcellini; sisters, Trudell Magnelli, Harrisburg; Arvilla Brosius, Texas; Annamae Chernisky, Vinco; and Thelma Lekawa, Greensburg; and brother, Milton Rummell, Ebensburg; also numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. Retired coal miner, with 42 years of service, for Bethlehem Mines. Member of United Mine Workers and Twin Rocks VFW. He loved hunting, fishing and camping with his family, NASCAR racing, and enjoyed watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren play baseball, basketball, football, hockey and soccer. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Nanty Glo United Methodist Church, 998 Lloyd St., Nanty Glo, Pa. 15943. Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Nanty Glo United Methodist Church. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery.
