Colleen Eisele Gruszecki, of Old Forge, died Friday morning at the Commonwealth Hospice Unit of the Regional Hospital of Scranton. She and her husband, Lester J. Gruszecki, celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary May 17.
Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Richard and Geraldine Moyles Eisele, she was educated in Scranton schools.
She was a graduate of Scranton Central High School, and also attended Marywood College.
She was formerly employed by Dunn & Bradstreet of Scranton and the Old Forge Bank.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and sister, who enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Also surviving are a son, Mark, Maryland; a daughter, Lisa, at home; a brother, Chris Eisele and wife, Mary Kay, Old Forge; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Karen Eisele and Geraldine Dang; and a brother, Richard Eisele.
Friends and relatives may visit Colleen's family Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Carl J. Savino Funeral Home, 157 S. Main Ave., West Scranton.
A blessing service will be offered at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family at the Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery, Elmhurst.
