Details: Kurt P. Klopstein, 58, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully from a brief illness on Friday, May 11, 2012, at his residence with his family and friends by his side. Born in Kenosha on March 3, 1954, he was the son of Eugene and Edna (Brickley) Klopstein. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, Kurt graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School. He was a pipefitter by trade for Local 118 for many years. Kurt was a big NASCAR fan, his favorite driver was Mark Martin, and an avid Green Bay Packer fan. He enjoyed camping, bowling and playing billiards. Surviving are a son, Steven Kurtis Klopstein of Kenosha; his mother, Edna Klopstein of Kenosha; two brothers, Kenneth (Debby) and Thomas Klopstein, both of Racine; three nephews, Ray, Dean, and Austin Klopstein; and a niece, Kendall Klopstein. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Klopstein.
