1 Details: Obituary Enos, Charles R. “Chuck” Greenville Age 62, passed into eternal life on Sunday, April 1, 2007 following an Acute Myeloblastic Leukemia. Chuck never considered his illness as a battle to be fought, but only as a journey, drawing him ever closer to his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. He displayed constant joy and unshakeable faith in the Lord as a witness to all those around him. His sparkling eyes, ready smile, and outstanding sense of humor will always be remembered. Chuck was a loving and devoted husband to his wife of 39 years, Faye, and an exceptional father to his sons, Bart and Shane, who were the pride of his life. Chuck had a compassionate heart and a deep love for family and friends. He had a gift of counsel and was always available to listen and provide comfort and encouragement to others. Chuck enjoyed playing his guitar and writing songs and poems, many of which he sang or recited at church and other social functions. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and especially loved his cabin in Fence, Wisconsin. Chuck was retired from the Marine Corps, having served in 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines, 3rd Marine division, I Company, 2nd Platoon. He earned a Purple Heart in Viet Nam, and many other medals of commendation. He supported the Veteran(TM)s Administration, and DAV Chapter Wisconsin 18, and he faithfully supported Feed the Children, World Vision, and Compassion International. Chuck is survived by the love of his life, Faye, whom he married on July 22, 1967. He is further survived by his two sons, Bart, and his wife, USAF, Fairview Heights, IL, and Shane, USAF, Grt. Falls, MT; and two granddaughters; his beloved father, Robert T. Crowe; 3 sisters: Jeanette Huss, London, AR, Carol Sue Million, San Antonio, TX, Penny Kortan, Buda, TX; 2 brothers: Larry Kinsey, Mead, WA, Tom Crowe, Austin, TX; sister-in-law, Gail Jensen, Kenosha, WI; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Friends may call at the church from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment and Military Honors will take place on Wednesday afternoon at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
