Reid and lived in Kenosha, Wisconsin. His daughter, Margaret, married Albert E. Christensen and lived in Antioch, Lake County, Illinois. He is survived by two brothers: Godfried and Charles Doerflinger of Kenosha and two sisters: Mrs. Jay Bailey of Town of Somers, Kensoha County, Wisconsin and Mrs. Catherine Nieman of Kenosha. Former Grocer Succumbs at 68 Frederick P Doerflinger Native of County Dies After Short Illness Frederick P Doerflinger 68 a native of Kenosha county and a former well known grocer of the city passed away at his home 4723 Seventeenth avenue at an early hour this morning following a short illness He was bom in Paris township Kenosha county on Nov 10 1871 the son of the late Mr and Mrs Jacob Doerflinger He came to Kenosha at the age of 14 and has made his home here since that time He received his education in Paris township and Kenosha He was employed for a number of years at the N R Allen Sons tannery and later at the Simmons company In 1911 he entered the grocery business and operated a grocery store at 4727 Seventeenth avenue retiring from active duties in 1929 Mr Doerflinger was well known in Kenosha and Kenosha county a man admired by all who knew him Member for 40 Years On Dec 25 1897 he was united in marriage to Miss Pauline Becker He was an active member of the Immanuel Methodist church for many years and was a member of the German Working Men’s society for over 40 years He is survived by his wife and by two sons and three daughters Charles W Doerflinger of Kenosha George F Doerflinger of Kenosha Mrs William J Reid of Kenosha Mrs Harry P Binnin-ger of Kenosha and Mrs Albert E Christensen of Antioch 111 and by eight grandchildren He is also survived by two brothers and two sisters Godfred and Charles Doerflinger of Kenosha Mrs Jay Bailey of Somers and Mrs Catherine Nieman of Kenosha The body is at the home 4723 Seventeenth avenue where it will remain until noon on Wednesday when it will be taken to the Immanuel Methodist church to lie in state until the time of the services as 2 o’clock interment following in the family plot in Hillcrest cemetery '
