Details: Herman J. Freltag Herman J. Freitag, 729 16th Place, died Monday evening at Kenosha Memorial Hospital after a short illness. He was born May 2, 1912 in Merrill, Wis., the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Herman G. (Martha Luebke) Freitag. He his education in Merrill schools before coming to Kenosha in 1956. On June 9, 1934 in Waukegan, Ill., he married Esther Fechner. He was a commercial fisherman by trade, and retired in 1970. He formerly served as deputy harbor master of Kenosha. Surviving are his wife; a son, Joel, Pleasant Prairie; a daughter. Mrs. Herbert (Nadine) Gerou, Elkhorn, Wis., six grandchildren; three brothers. Warren, Kenosha, LeRoy, Wittenberg, Wis., and Otis, Scotch Plains, N.J.; and three sisters, Mrs. Herbert (Elleanora) Ladwig, Mrs. John (Janet) Vagnoni argi Mrs. al (Alice) Topel, all of Kenosha.
