<p><span style="color: #36322d; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; background-color: #fafafa;">Louise was the daughter of Frederick and Elizabeth (Westphal) Sengbusch. When she was seven, the family migrated to the United States, settling in Michigan City, Ind. where her girlhook was spent. On Sept. 31, 1873, she married ClausSothman at Valparaiso, Ind. The couple made their home in Michigan City until 1885 when they came to Nebraska, first residing in Buffalo county for eight years and then Grand Island.</span><br style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #36322d; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; background-color: #fafafa;" /><br style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #36322d; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; background-color: #fafafa;" /><span style="color: #36322d; font-family:'Source Sans Pro', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; background-color: #fafafa;">She was preceded in death by her husband, two children who died in infancy, and a son, William C.Sothman, who died in an automobile accident in 1921. Survivors were Charles F., of Lisco, Neb., Mrs. Christ Harfst, Helen and Paul, of Grand Island and a brother, William Sengbusch, of Michigan City.</span><br style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #36322d; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; background-color: #fafafa;" /><br style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #36322d; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; background-color: #fafafa;" /><span style="color: #36322d; font-family: 'Source Sans Pro', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; background-color: #fafafa;">Mrs. Sothman united with the Lutheran faith early in her life and was a member ofthat church until her death. Funeral services were held from the home, Saturday afternoon with Rev.
