Johann Paulus DREYDOPPEL

Paul was 63 when he posed for the drawing. He was listed as hunter for Prince Maximillian of Wied. His grandson, David Jakob Dreydoppel, went with the prince to America to assist with the Swiss artist Bodmer's recording the Indians, in the early 1800's. David Jakob's nephew and namesake came to America c. 1851, to Louisville, KY.
