Johann Heinrich Fürstmann übernahm1743 von Theodor genannt Menningmann den gleichnahmigen Hof und trug ab da den Vulgonamen "genannt Menningmann".
Menningmann kommt von Mönchsgut, das in Lanstrop, an Stelle des alten Menningmann Hofes seit 1412 bekannt war. Mönnich-Hof ->der Verwalter war der Mönnichmann -> Mönnigmann ->Menningmann (ab etwa 1720)
Der Name wird auch als Fuestmann wiedergegeben
